The Vermont landscape has been my main subject for quite some time, with its barns, cows and mountains. But for me it is the clouds that have made painting landscapes so enjoyable. I think about them the most when planning a composition but they are the last piece to be added to the canvas and yet the quickest to apply – random and unique every time like the real ones.
My painting process is fun like it was when I was a kid in school. I, like most of us, stopped painting after my grade school years. Well, I'm back and have picked up where I left off. I am glad I paint the way I do. I hope you enjoy my work.
